The trailer is coming soon.
A small band of gnomes wanders out of the dark woods and finds an ancient oak with a glowing twig. They knock on it, and an acorn falls. Then another.
Gnomeageddon is a cosy pixel-art incremental game about a gnome grove that grows, and grows, and grows... and what that growth costs.
Knock acorns from the Elderoak, hire gatherers to haul them to the Stump, and watch your little diorama fill with life. Shakers wobble the trunk. Slingshot gnomes pepper the branches. A pinecone catapult lobs volleys at the bark. Squirrels and crows try to steal from your Heap, and a squirrel cavalry rides out to stop them.
Days turn to sunsets, sunsets to nights, and nights turn spooky. Tap sap, farm mushrooms, brew potions (some with colourful side effects), and keep the old tree in a good mood. Climb the trunk, light the canopy with fireflies, and discover what wakes up in the dark.
Your population booms: gatherers, shakers, riders, a choir, and one very large gnome assembled from many smaller ones. The grove can feed them all... for now.
When the cracks appear, the grove's health becomes your problem. Fires, sickness, angry strikers and gnomes with chainsaws all show up when it is neglected. Build care for the land, or push your luck. Take too much, and the grove burns.
Open the canopy to the night sky. Catch falling stars, chase comets, build an observatory and a village in the treetops, and throw a festival among the leaves. And there is more below the roots than anyone expected...
- A living pixel diorama that grows across the ground, up the trunk, into the canopy and beyond, at a crisp 480×270 with whole-number scaling.
- Five acts of escalating systems, each opening with a little story card, from the first tap to the grove's fate.
- Day, sunset, night and spooky phases, plus Harvest Moons, auroras, meteor showers and a festival.
- A grove that reacts: Tree Mood, Grove Health and events that need your attention (and your clicking).
- Over 200 upgrades across 20+ buildings, with synergies that let experienced players race ahead.
- Pettable critters, a golden deer, playful click-teases, and secrets hidden in the grove.
- About 41 achievements, a Journal of everything you've learned, stats, and a Grove Map that doubles as a collection screen.
- Fair idle play: offline progress with an ashes-safety rule, so you never come back to a burned grove without warning.
- About 15 hours to see the story through, and around 25 for everything.
